How You Can Make Money On YouTube?

Let’s talk about how you can make some make money on YouTube. Unbelievably, YouTube can potentially become your source of income and pay your bills. YouTube can be a very viable source of income if you just play your cards right, and not only that, there are way more opportunities to make money on YouTube or through social media than you ever thought.
So if you’ve just started a YouTube channel or you’ve already had one for a little bit, how can you actually make money on YouTube?
So here are some of the ways that you can try to monetize your YouTube channel to pay the bills and make an actual income out of YouTube.

The Proven Working Methods To Make Money On YouTube

First up is AdSense. You link your YouTube channel to an AdSense account, and you’re going to get paid per view. How it works is that the ads before the videos pop up, and then they pay YouTube a certain amount of money. After that Google pays the YouTuber a small portion of that money – per views. Views are the only thing that counts, regardless of how many subscribers you have, which can be pretty low if you don’t have that many views. Stereotypically, people think YouTubers make a lot of money from views through AdSense, but, unfortunately, this is a relatively small income, for starting Youtubers anyway. In order to make good money from AdSense, you have a to have a lot of views, which is not an easy task at first. So if you are just getting started, don’t expect to earn lots of money from AdSense. But without a doubt, you should try out this revenue stream and have it on your channel.

Next money making method, we have affiliate links. Affiliate links can be used in a whole bunch of different ways. The most obvious one is Amazon affiliate links. You basically just link any products, and then when people click on those links and buy stuff from Amazon, I get a small percent of whatever they buy.
So, in general, that’s how affiliate links work – you give a link to a product, whatever it is, and you get a piece of the conversion each time somebody buys something or subscribes to a service.
Affiliate links are excellent because they don’t take that much effort from you. You just make whatever videos you want, and then you just link stuff in your description. Another advantage is that you don’t have to deal with any of that headache which sometimes comes with dealing with different companies and supplied services – for example when you get free products to promote on your videos and use their affiliate links. It can sometimes feel like an open-ended contract, and you are obliged to promote them, even if you don’t believe in their product. That being said, definitely try out affiliate links, especially Amazon, but also the other ones. Test them and see what works the best for your marketing needs.

Next, a really great way to make more money on YouTube is to sell digital products. So, think of different digital products that fit your channel, your niche, that you can sell online that benefit your viewers, and I think this is actually one of the best ways to make money because you’re entirely in control. You can sell unlimited quantities, you don’t have to have any inventory, and you don’t have to deal with shipping. You could sell e-books, After Effects plugins, Photoshop actions and the list goes on and on. I highly recommend checking out Shopify. They are, by far, the best platform to sell things online today. They have all sorts of apps that you can use for selling digital products or if you want to sell merchandise. You don’t even have to buy the merchandise and have inventory, you just use one of their apps, design some merchandise, take orders, and then they send them out. You never even touch the products. I think over 500,000 businesses use Shopify because they work so well, companies like Tesla, Red Bull, and Kylie Cosmetics. A lot of big companies are using Shopify, and that’s because it just works so well.

So the next make money on YouTube opportunity that I want to recommend is having a stock footage. Stock footage can be a really great way to earn some passive income. So, when you travel and go on trips somewhere, you can take lots of footage and sell that online. However, it can be a bit unreliable because you’d have no idea how much money you’re going to make from it. You don’t have control over it other than just putting out much content on there, but that’s really time-consuming, and you have no guarantee for returns. However, if you have all this footage sitting around, it’s a great way to make some extra money.

Then you can also sell teaching courses. I think it’s a great way to make some extra money. You make some really in-depth courses on a particular topic. Moreover, it’s a great transaction between you and your audience. They’re getting more information from you, more exclusive content that not everybody else is seeing, and again, it’s one of these things that you’re completely in control over, you can make as many courses as you want, you don’t need anybody else paying you, you just make them, put them out there, and just promote them through your YouTube channel and you can make some extra cash that way.

Finally, the last way that can use to make money on YouTube is brand deals. You can do things like dedicated videos, or do shout-outs for sponsors and they’ll pay you some money for that. You’re always going to get paid more for the dedicated videos, but they’re also a lot more work. For shout-outs, you get paid less, but they require less work. Try to pick companies that you believe in, that you believe in their products, that you think they have good reliable products and choose products you’ll be using and you want your viewers to use also.
Also, here, I would say, know the value of your product, of your channel, of your skills, so that you don’t sell yourself short. Companies are always going to want to get a deal out of you, especially if it’s through an agency. The less an agency pays you, the more money that agency will make. So definitely negotiate, find out what you can make, don’t just take the first number that comes on your way. And also, you don’t want to be promoting things all the time on a channel because that kind of gets annoying and that can take away from your brand and your channel. So be strategic, find some companies that fit your channel, fit your niche and work well, products that you believe in and want to promote.

The main conclusion is to use as many revenue streams as possible. Don’t Use them all, use every way that you can and be smart with it. So above all, make sure you’re just putting out good content. That is the most important thing, especially when you’re starting out. Don’t think about how I can make money so much. Think about how can I make better content, how can I reach more people, and then through all that you’re going to make money on YouTube in the long run.
